Figures are before TDS and GST, and are an estimate only. Your actual commission depends on your slab, the banks your customers use, and the billers and operators you serve. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of earnings.

Getting paid

When the money reaches you

Credited instantly

Commission lands in your MehaiPay wallet the moment a transaction succeeds. You can see it on the transaction receipt itself, not at the end of the month.

Withdrawn same day

Move your wallet balance to your own bank account on the same day, any number of times. There is no minimum payout and no withdrawal charge.

Statement every month

A statement with the GST and TDS breakdown arrives by the fifth of the following month, ready to hand to your accountant.

Commission on a reversed transaction is taken back. If a transaction is later reversed — a failed AEPS withdrawal, a returned transfer, a declined recharge — the commission on it is clawed back and shown as a separate line on your statement. See the refund policy for how reversals work.
Moving the needle

What actually increases the number

Most counters start with recharge and bills, then grow. In our experience these four things change a month's total more than anything else.

1

Add AEPS early

A fingerprint scanner costs around ₹2,000 once. At twelve withdrawals a day it pays for itself inside three weeks, and it is the service that makes people walk in.

2

Open on the first week

Pensions, salaries and subsidy credits land at the start of the month. The first seven days routinely carry a third of a counter's monthly volume.

3

Put up the board

Agents who display the services board see noticeably more walk-ins than those who rely on word of mouth alone. We send the board free on activation.

4

Build a network

Once you know the platform, bringing on retailers around you earns an override on everything they process. See distributor.

Questions

About these numbers

Are these figures a guarantee?

No. This is an estimator, not a promise. It multiplies the volumes you enter by the indicative retailer slabs shown above. What you actually earn depends on how busy your counter is, which banks and billers your customers use, and the slab your account is on. MehaiPay does not guarantee any level of earnings.

Why is a month twenty-six days and not thirty?

Because most shops are shut one day a week. Using thirty days would inflate every figure on this page by about fifteen percent, which would not be an honest estimate of a month.

Is this before or after tax?

Before. Commission is paid gross into your wallet. TDS is deducted under section 194H where applicable and GST is handled on the monthly statement, so the amount you keep will be lower than the figure shown here. Your accountant can tell you by how much.

Do the slabs change?

Occasionally. Commission on a service can be revised when a bank, biller or operator revises what they pay us. Any change is notified in the agent app at least seven days before it takes effect, and the live rate card in the app is always authoritative over this page.

How much more does a distributor earn?

A distributor earns their own counter commission plus an override on every transaction their retailers process. The override is a share of the same pool, so it scales with network size rather than with your own working hours. The distributor page sets out the split with a worked example.

Is there a fee that eats into this?

There is no joining fee, no monthly charge and no charge to withdraw your wallet balance. The only money you spend to start is the ₹500 opening wallet load, which is yours to transact with, and a fingerprint scanner if you want to offer AEPS.
